Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C - Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant which will prevent free radical damage in the skin on a daily basis. It actually coats the cells creating a shield for the cell that prevents  some of the deep dermal damage UVA (the suns ageing ray) can have on the skin. Vitamin C will brighten your skin visibly and quickly. Vitamin C is considered a tyrosinase inhibitor which means that it suppresses the melanocyte (the cell that creates pigment in the skin) from squirting pigment within the layers of the skin. Vitamin C is a depigmentation agent and ingredients like Vitamin A and AHA’s ferry that unwanted pigment to the surface for it to be sloughed off and out of the skin. Vitamin C is also a powerful collagen and elastin producer, it can firm, brighten and tone the texture of the skin visibly and quickly.

Vitamin C is only to be used in the morning as it acts as an antioxidant shield from sunlight. Overuse of Vitamin C can cause oxidation of the ingredient in the pores which can look like blackheads. This is not permanent and quickly resolves when not overusing the ingredient.
